ABU DHABI TO NEPAL

We waited patiently for ten hours. An hour before take off about a hundred Nepalese men with no luggage turned up. They were obviously workers and smelt of sweat. There were an American couple with three children under three and a double pram also boarding the plane. Once we were on and seated the Nepalese men started coughing. Not one or two but a lot of them: coughing, sniffing and hacking.....the whole way. The scenery was dramatic. Desolate desert, then the mountains covered in snow and then the steep, wild country of Nepal.
